A typical service at Reichspeed will include an oil change, new spark plugs, ignition leads, distributor cap, ignition points, rotor arm and fan belt. Details such as ignition timing and valve clearances are checked and adjusted where necessary. Performance engines are also catered for, air/fuel ratio can be checked and jet changes made, with a full before and after print out available. Call for any other requirements.

Brakes , suspension and steering

Whether it be just a new set of brake pads fitted or a complete front and rear disc brake conversion, we can accommodate for all levels of work. Lowering, beam narrowing type 1 and 2 ball joint replacement, beetle and bus king and link pin overhauls all carried out in house. Standard and uprated brake, suspension and steering components supplied and fitted. Other Breather box`s, short throw shifters , line locks etc , it`s all covered. Call with your requirements.

If its just a new light bulb or a complete re-wire then its Reichspeed aircooled that can cover all bases. We use the original colour coded cable of the correct gauge to ensure your vehicle functions as VW intended for another 30 years. All joints are soldered and shrink wrap insulated. Terminals are high quality brass or tin plated crimp on type not the cheap plastic type which have a habit of cracking!
